What Cancer Cannot Do!

It cannot cripple Love; It cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith; It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship; It cannot suppress Memories
It cannot silence Courage; It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal Eternal Life

It cannot conquer the Spirit.

Adaptions and considerations are taken in account based on the type of treatment the cancer patient is receiving. The oncology massage adapts to the side effects the patient may be experiencing.

Modalities integrated within a session range from light massage, lymphatic drainage, cranial sacral therapy, reflexology, Reiki and healing touch modalities. The goal is to reduce side effects, provide comfort and support the healing process of the patient.

In cases where the patient is terminal, oncology massage offers comfort for the patient and helps relieve pain. Touch works in the nervous system different from pain because the nerves that respond to touch are faster information highways than the nerves that respond to pain. The science behind this has to do with the size of the nerve and how quickly it communicates with the brain.

With patients who are unable to travel, I will come to you as long as you are in the area I travel.  This is a case by case decision, my rates are based on location and financial considerations of the family.
